Milani Mineral Blushes

These are my very first face Milani product. I know, where have I been? I've seen and read many reviews on Milani procuts, but I never go for them, because they are the more higher priced drugstore items. After finding out that they were on sale for $1.82 at CVS, I went for it and I bought all 4 shades. I didn't keep all four shades for myself. I gave two of them to my sister! ^^

Sweet Rose

Mai Tai

Luminous

Sunset Beach

L to R: MAC Well Dressed, Millani Sweet Rose, MAC Briar Rose
Sweet Rose is very similar to those MAC blushes, but a much more affordable version of it.
These blushes are very pigmented. You only need a little! It's amazing~!
The texture is very soft. I think that is because it is a mineral pressed blush^^
The packaging is nice a sturdy. Doesn't feel like super cheap material.
The packaging design is similar to Physicians Formula compacts where underneath
the product, it lifts up to reveal the provided applicator. This type of packaging is
very convenient for traveling.
They have good lasting power and gives the skin a very nice glow.
I love these blushes a lot! Go and grab them before they disappear!

Hope you enjoyed this review! ^^

Winter Holiday in Korea Part 1

Going back to my roots was an amazing experience. One who is born in America can experience diversity, but they can't really taste the actual flavors of their culture. Living in America my whole life has been a blessing. I grew up in a family that fused both Korean traditions and the diverse traditions of this country. The last time I was in Korea was 6 years ago when I was a mere teenager. This time, as an adult, I was able to enjoy and appreciate my time there even more than I did 6 years ago. Going back to my roots again was pretty amazing. I had the chance to bond with my family and I quite enjoyed it. Not only did I enjoy the wonderful scenery of Korea, I enjoyed learning more about the history of Korea. Korea's history is filled with so many exciting stories of great kings, queens, princes and princesses and great people who helped create the Korea that it is today. I think Korea's history should be known to everyone because it is very inspiring and it helped me to really appreciate my origins.

Okay.....
So finally on to my trip. I did make a vlog video so check it out here My flight actually stopped by Narita Airport in Tokyo, Japan for about 2 hours so I had some time to look around. Didn't find much makeup items in the area that I was in, but the store that stayed in for the whole time was sooooo cool! It was a store that sold mostly origami books and lots of cute souvenirs.  Sadly, I'm stupid and I didn't get the name of the store! -_- Anyway, here are some of the origami displays:
Cinderella's Carriage! SO COOL!

The whole Cinderella display!

Animals~ these were pretty cool!

This one was my favorite~

Santa and his elvesssss~

Pretty flowers~

These are cranes and they would get smaller down the line.

This was the smallest one!! OMG! It was folded using tweezers!
If you guys go to Narita airport in Japan, you have to eat this! Juicy chicken is REAL chicken!

I'm drooling as I am writing this~ YUMMY!
Anyways, hope you liked this so far~ I will be blogging more about my korea winter holiday soon!^^

T-ara Jiyeon Lovey Dovey Inspired look

So, I know that I don't do many Kpop inspired makeup looks as much as I should be doing, BUT I was able to create this look right after watching the music video of Lovey Dovey by T-ara. I absolutely am obsessed with that song. It is so catchy! My favorite member from T-ara is Jiyeon SO I just had to make a look according to the one she had on in the music video.

The following picture is a screen shot that I personally created:

For this look, all the eyeshadows are from the Naked Pallete. I used Virgin, Half-baked, and Creep. According to the music video, Jiyeon had a very clean canvas with a little bit of highlighting down her nose bridge and no blush or bronzer. Her eye makeup was the focus of the look. It's a dramatic cat eye that involved using lots calculating on my part. The angle of the cat eye is very dramatic and then it slowly fades into a lighter inner corner. From the screenshot that I created, you could see that the look had some gold in it as well, which is why I added the half-baked shade.

Here is the link to my video tutorial:

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE

My mom is flying over from new york today for thanksgiving dinner! I'm so excited~! I wanted to share with you  what is on my menu for today!

First off, the turkey is always wanted but since its too big for us, we are having the nicely roasted chicken today!  The one from Ralphs.
Next up is my lovely homemade Mashed potatoes~!^^ This is what I'm really good at making, I don't know why. I guess I just love potatoes~
Baked Macaroni and Cheese~ Although this will be my first time cooking this, I am very determined to make this very yummy~
Steamed Vegetables~ You all need your greens with all of this yummy food. Although you may not veggies, it is good for your health, so eat up your carrots and broccoli!
For dessert, we were supposed to bake these lovely pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, but because my sister is going for the more traditional option, we are having Dutch apple pie, which is yummy too!
For our drinks during this wonderful evening, we are going to be sipping on Martinelli's Apple Cider! Yummy~
That is my Thanksgiving menu for today~^^ What is yours?

Happy Thanksgiving<3
