Bath&Body Works Fall Mini Candle

Hello Everyone!
Another product review, but this product is for your home! Lately, I've been really into candles and complimentary from influenster, I received a Bath and Body Works Mini candle in the beauty bloggers vox box!! For review and testing purposes, of course! Also along with the mini candle, I got a coupon for $10 off a 3 wick candle and I got myself another 3 wick candle!

Mini candles- $3.50
Small Candles- $9.50
Medium Candles- $12.50
3 Wick Candles- $19.50
Bath and Body Works Store and Online

From my voxbox, I got the Mahogany Teakwood mini candle which is very popular due to the scent being very similar to Abercrombie and Fitch's Men Cologne. I think it is very similar, but it a little bit sweeter than the actual cologne. The packaging is a simple, glass tub and it's pretty strong. I've dropped one of these before and it didn't shatter! The burning time for the mini's go for a pretty long time. I was happy to see that the wax didn't disappear all the way on the first burn.

Peppermint Mocha was the one I got with the coupon and this is an amazing christmas scent. With the peppermint and chocolate scents, this scent is to die for~!

This is the rest of the candles that I have collected so far from Bath and Body Works and I must say, I am a very happy gal at this moment.

Overall, would I repurchase Bath and Body works candles?
YES!!! I love the scents that they come out with throughout the year and I am forever in love!

Boots No7 Beautiful Skin

Hello Everyone!
Another product review for today is on the Boots No.7 Beautiful Skin products that I received complimentary from influenster for review and testing purposes! Boots No.7 is a brand that is very popular in the UK and their Beautiful Skin line is said to be made for each specific skin type with only 2 steps! The products that I got in my voxbox were the Cleansing Balm and the Night cream for Dry/Very Dry Skin.
Cleansing Balm

Retails for- $8.49
Available online here and in stores like Target and Ulta.

Packaging-
The Dry/Very Dry line has a lilac cap and is in a tube form. The tube itself looks pretty classy looking. It has a nice smooth, lacquered finish which I find to be very nice as well.

Texture/Consistency-
The cleansing balm feels really like a lotion that I use to remove makeup and it doesn't foam up or anything. It's not runny or too thick either so it's easy to work into the skin. Not all of my makeup was removed, but it still got rid of alot of my eye makeup! The night cream is very nice as well. It moisturizes my face very well and a little goes a long way for me.

Scent-
These products are scented, but not to the extremes. The scent is very light and florally which I really like and it doesn't bother my nose.

Overall, would I repurchase these in the full sizes?

I think I would because these products are very gentle but effective and for the price, they work pretty well.

That is it for this review, I hope you enjoyed and hope you like your No.7 Products like I do!

NYC New York Color IndividualEyes Custom Compact

Hello my beauty owl's!

So today's review is on the NYC New York Color individual eyes custom compact that I received in my beauty blogger voxbox, complimentary of influenster.com for testing and review purposes.
Here is the website for more information on NYC!

Retails for: $4.99
Available in stores that carry NYC New York Color Products

Packaging-
The packaging isn't as appealing to me, but it is very handy because it has all of the eyeshadows and the primer and illuminator with the applicators included. It's perfect for traveling!!

Texture/Consistency-
The shadows are pretty smooth, but they do have a lot of fall out when you use a brush. The primer and the illuminator are a bit on the oily side so I would suggest powdering the lids a bit before apply the primer to your lids.

Lasting Power-
The lasting power of this product isn't as long. The primer doesn't prevent the eyeshadow from creasing (sadly) and the eyeshadows fade throughout the day.

Overall, would I repurchase?
Maybe, because of the shades, but most likely not.

That is it! I hope you enjoyed this short review!!

Clear Scalp and Hair Beauty Therapy Review

Hello Everyone!
Today's product review is on the Clear Scalp and Hair Beauty Therapy Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner that I received in my Summer Beauty Vox Box, complimentary of Influenster.com for testing and review purposes!
I'm sure you have all been seeing this brand in the stores lately. They are in these sleek, light purple tubes and you can't help looking at them. At least that's how I felt when I first saw them landing on the shelves of my local Targets.

Retails:
$4.99-$5.99
Select retail stores, drugstore, ect

Clear Scalp and Hair Beauty Therapy is available in six different shampoo's and five conditioners that are supposed to help different hair needs. This line also has nutrum10TM technology that involves the infusion of many vitamins and nutrients that are good for hair.

Another very great thing about this, is the conditioner is instructed to be used on the scalp as well.
Many don't know this, but the scalp is where all of the hair comes from and without a healthy scalp, healthy hair cannot be produced.

Packaging:
The ones I received in my box were great deluxe sample sizes, where as the full sizes look something like this.
(Credit: Influenster.com)

The design itself is pretty unique, considering the way most shampoo's are packaged^^

Consistency/Texture:
Like any shampoo and conditioner, they consistency was good! I loved the conditioner, especially because of how smooth it made my hair. The shampoo doesn't bubble up and easily as some other of my favorite shampoo's but it still did the job.

Scent:
I love how this smells! It makes your hair smell amazing and the great thing is, the scent stays for quite a while. It's not overly scents where the scent hurts your nose, but there is a very distinct scent to it that I find very enjoyable^^

Lastly, does this live up to it's name of clear scalp and hair? Does it really nourish your hair and change the texture of it in just 7 days?

Final Verdict:
Yes, it lives up to it's name of helping my scalp and the flakiness that I suffer from, but I didn't really see a big difference, I FELT it. My hair felt smoother than it did before and I have naturally oily root's but dry ends, and I always try to treat my ends. Using this shampoo and conditioner, I noticed that my hair was much smoother at the ends and drier on my roots (which I am actually thankful for^^). It was dry, but not like a bad dry feel.

Overall, I love this shampoo and conditioner and I hope you do too!

Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Lotion Sunscreen

Today's product review is on the Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Lotion Sunscreen that I received complimentary from Influenster's Summer Beauty Vox Box program for testing and review purposes!
I have been looking for a body lotion that has SPF in it for a long time and this was the perfect product for this time of year because I really needed it!

Retails for $8.99 for a 6 oz. Bottle
Available in SPF 12, 30, 50!!

Packaging:
The full size of this product actually has the dispenser facing down with a flat cap which is great because you can apply it directly to your body without having to tip the bottle down because it is always down! Also when you are nearing the end of this product, no need to shake and wait for the rest of the product to come to the bottom!

Texture/Consistency:
This basically just feels like a nice lotion! It really softens up the skin and also you can feel the hydrating ribbons melt into your skin^^

Scent:
The scent is very nice. It smells like coconuts and pineapple to me. It's not strong and obnoxious like some lotions can be. It's very nice and appealing.

Lasting Power:
My legs and arms felt very moist and soft until the end of the day,  because you should reapply your SPF every two hours, I reapplied this throughout the day to continuously protect myself from the sun, and you should too!

Final Verdict:
I really like this! Would I repurchase it? I definitely would only if it didn't have avobenzone and oxybenzone in it! I like my physical sunscreens rather than chemicals, but if you don't really mind, I would get this! It's a really great body lotion that also helps protect!

That is all for this review!

Hope you enjoyed!

Sally Hansen Magnetic Nail Color

Hi Everyone!
Today's product review is on the Sally Hansen Magnetic Nail color which was in my summer beauty voxbox that I got complimentary of Influenster.com for review purposes!
The magnetic polish trend is booming and the first time I ever saw this type of polish was when I was in sephora and the brand, Nails Inc had come out with a Magnetic polish! The polish has little metallic particles which then form the cool wave like effect on your nails after you place the magnet above the wet polish^^
It's a really cool concept and I was happy that I got this in the vox box!

Retails for $9.99
This is in the shade: 905 Red-y Response
Packaging:
It comes in a glass vial with a cap that actually is the magnet. When you pull that cap off, the polish applicator is underneath, sealing the polish shut from any air going in. This reminded me of how Chanel nail polishes have the extra cap on top of the actual applicator, but this time the cap had a purpose^^

Texture/ Color:
It's very pigmented and opaque so one coat would do the trick if you are going for the color, but in order to get the wave effect, you have to add a second coat and then place the magnet on top, without touching the nail. It goes on smoothly and isn't goopy at all.

Lasting Power:
This lasted for a good two weeks without chipping and I think that is pretty good, considering I didn't use a great base and top coat like I usually do.
Now, because this is very pigmented, it can stain your nails if you don't use a base coat, so I highly suggest using a good base coat before applying this to your nails.

The staining  leave my nail look pink, but after a day, it's gone! So no worries!

Final Verdict:
I really like this! I love the effect because it's very edgy and different and I love the shade that I got. It's perfect for fall which is coming soon!!^^

That is all for this product review! Hope you enjoyed!!

Too Faced Natural at Night Palette Review

I love TOO FACED! Especially their eyeshadow palettes! I own two now and I have to say, they are amazing~!
Today's review is on the Too Faced Natural at Night Eyeshadow Palette!
My sister-in-law was my secret santa during christmas time and she gave this to me as my gift!!!
WOOHOO~ I fell in love right away!

Retails for:
$36 at Sephora.com
$36 at Ulta.com
$36 at toofaced.com

I love the way the packaging of this eye shadow palette was made.
The lace touches are so cute!
It reminds me of a chocolate bar.

I love the names of the eye shadows.
They all relate with night time!
The texture of these eye shadows are very soft, but
because some of these shadows have glitter in them, there is quite a bit of fall out.
The first two shadows in the first row (full moon, Night Light) are very glittery.
They have a good amount of glitter so when I applied it to my eyes, I had to pat the shadow on rather than sweep it on like I usually do.
Patting on the shadow using a wet eyeshadow brush really helped with packing on the shadow to my eyelids and prevented the glitter from getting all over my face.

Most of these shadows are glittery/shimmery which is perfect for a night out, hence the name "natural at night".
You can create a natural look using this palette, but more of a nighttime natural.

This is the look I created using this palette and I have to say, I love the glitter now!
I was kind of disappointed in the beginning because I felt like this palette had much more fall out compared to my Romantic eye eyeshadow palette, but a little tap and a wet eye shadow brush does the trick! So now~ I am happy.

So, the question now is, would I recommend this to you all?

YES!

Hope you all enjoyed this review
and
Thank you for reading<3

Wishtrend: Liz K UV Protection Color Veil Review

Product review for you all!
I am a lover of base makeup. Meaning everything from powders, foundations, BB Creams, tinted moisturizers, primers, ect. Talking about base makeup, I love BB creams. BB Cream stands for "Blemish Balm". They are basically your all-in-one product which originated from Germany. BB cream was created for patients who had had laser procedures done and was meant to protect the skin and provide a little bit of coverage. South Korea took up the idea and created the ultimate beauty item which is now a bestselling product.
If you follow me on youtube, twitter, or facebook, you would know that I am now collaborating with Wishtrend  which is an online beauty store based in South Korea. They sell lots of Korean Beauty products that are all very well known and great quality, but under rated in South Korea. So now, every month I will be given products to review and share to you all! ^^
Anyways! Wishtrend always has events on their facebook page here where they hold lots of giveaways of the products that they sell on their shop. Anyone can enter to win!!  I was lucky enough to win one of their giveaways and I won the Liz K UV Protection Color Veil which is basically a BB Cream!

All Skin Types

35ml = 1.18 fl oz

Made in Korean

SPF 50+ PA+++

Protects from UVA/B

Vitamin C & E

Whitening

Anti-aging

$35.99 USD

Packaging:
I love the white box. It's very sleek and slim and fits nicely in my makeup bag.

My shade is 020 natural beige which is perfect for my skin tone! It really brightens up my complexion and evens out my skintone.

It's the perfect size for traveling! As you can see, it's smaller than my hand! SO cute^^

This is a squeeze tube which I don't mind, but I find that after a good shake the product finds itself in the cap which leaves some of the product in the cap and ends in a messy finale.
BUT that is easily cleaned up using a q-tip^^

Consistency/Texture:
The texture of this bb cream is not too thick not too thin. It's right in between! You only need to use very little for your entire face.
The color suits me very well. It does have a slight yellow undertone which helps neutralize the redness in my skin so I really liked this.

You can already see how much it brightens my skin!
Coverage:
"it also functions as a foundation cream with just a small amount of usage, removing wrinkles, covering blemishes, providing whitening effect, leaving the skin perfectly flawless! Various colors"
- Wishtrend

The statement above definitely lives up to how this bb cream is described to be like, minus the "removing wrinkles" part because I don't have any wrinkles to cover or get rid of :P
It definitely covers up blemishes and also like I said before, you only need to use very little to get the coverage you want.

Naked Face! My 쌩얼! ^^ or Ssaeng ul which directly translates to "Raw Face"

 Full Frontal

I do not get acne often, but I do get the occasional  blemish here and thereT-T

Half of my face covered including the blemishes!! This covers up the redness so well!

Full face covered! I used my fingers for one side and used a brush for the other side of my face.
I must say, using a brush gave me a nicer finish than when I used my fingers. I prefer using a brush when I have time and the fingers are great to use when I'm in a hurry.

 Right Side^^

Left Side^^

Sun Protection:
Definitely keeps my face protected throughout the day.

Finish/ Lasting Power:
It gives a very nice dewy finish, not the type of dewy finish where you look oily. It gave me a very pretty and healthy glow. If you are not a fan of the dewy look, you can always mattify it using a powder.
The lasting power is great. It did fade just tad at the end of the day, but I still looked pretty flawless throughout.

Final Verdict:
I LOVE IT!
This is what I give a FIVE STAR.
It really lives up to what it claims to do and I am very satisfied^^

Want it for yourselves~? You can get it here

That is all for this review~^^

Love,
Jane, The Beauty Owl
